Smart Deck Poker (“we”, “us”) makes the Smart Deck Poker app and this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you use them, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the details they share with us: an account identifier, your name and your email address. If you choose to hide your email from Apple, we receive a private relay address instead.
- Profile information. The display name and profile photo you choose.
- Game information. The tables you host or join and the games you play, including hands, results and statistics.
- Device permissions. If you allow it, the app uses your camera and microphone for its features, such as reading cards and voice commands. Photos and recordings stay on your device unless you choose to share them. Voice commands use Apple’s speech recognition, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
- Technical information. Basic records our servers keep when the app connects, such as the time of a request and error reports, used to keep the service running and secure.
How we use information
- To provide the service: your account, your profile, your tables and your game history across your devices.
- To show the other players at a table you share what they need to see: your display name, your photo and the games you play together.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account or important changes.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.
How information is shared
- With other players. People at a table you host or join see your display name and photo, and the games you play together, including the cards shown at the table. Cards you don’t show stay private.
- With service providers that host our servers and store data for us, under agreements that limit how they use it.
- With Apple and Google when you sign in with them, under their own privacy policies.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app’s settings. This deletes your account, your profile and your photo. Games you played with others stay in their history, with your name replaced by “Deleted player”.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.
Children
Smart Deck Poker isn’t intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can change your name and photo in the app, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or move your information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us.
International use
We may store and process information in countries other than the one you live in.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date above. If the changes are significant, we’ll let you know in the app.
